The memory or secondary storage on the computer is represent together by entities or data storage devices which they are components that read and write data on a storage medium or on device.This devices work to perform the activities, or read the media or devices that store or maintain physical and logical files in a computer system.
These devices are not only used on exclusively for recording (hands, mouth, musical instruments) but also on used these devices for intermediate in the process of storage and retrieval (eg, new tech eyes testing , Digital cameras, high tech scanners, ears, microphones, high tech monitors & speakers , projectors video) which should not considered as storage devices. These Devices used exclusively for recording (eg laser & In Jet -printers) which work exclusively for reading, or devices that process only one form of information (phonographs, etc.) may or may not be considered storage devices. This whole calculation is known as input / output.
It should not be considered as a data storage device reason is may or may not biological brain .
All type of information stored in any of these devices must have some mechanism to restore the information, ie restore information to its original state if an event does not allow us to access the original information, being necessary to resort to copying we had done previously. For the restoration of data exist different methods, from simple commands such as copy through the “copy” of DOS, the “cp” Linux and Unix systems, or tools from different manufacturers.
